Things to do while you’re here

  • Church of St Gregory the Great

This church is a member of the Bridgnorth and Morville Parishes Team Ministry which in turn is part of the Diocese of Hereford. They hold traditional weekly Sunday services including a monthly Communion Service based on the Book of Common Prayer. All are very welcome whether you wish to join regularly or come for services such as Christmas Day or Harvest Festival.

  • Bridgnorth Cliff Railway

England’s Oldest and Steepest Inland Electric Funicular Railway. The railway operates two cars on parallel tracks. Connected by steel ropes, the carriages serve to counterbalance each other – as one rises to the top station, the other runs to the bottom station. The cars are now powered by an electric winding engine, but were originally driven by a system of water balance, each carriage carrying water ballast in a tank beneath the passenger compartment.

  • Vallets Farm Barn Alpaca Walks

Experience the Ultimate Alpaca Adventure with Afternoon Tea!

Looking for a unique and unforgettable day out? Look no further than our Alpaca Walk & Afternoon Tea experience! Get ready for an adventure like no other, combining the charm of these friendly animals with the indulgence of a delightful afternoon tea.

  • The Edge Adventure

Multi-activity center nestled on The Wenlock Edge and choose from a huge range of activities including Archery Tag, Junior Quad Biking Trek, Mountain Boarding, Sniper shooting, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery, Jacobs Ladder, Axe Throwing and Team Building Activities.

  • Bridgnorth Castle and Gardens

Once a mighty Norman fortress, now a charmingly tilted ruin, Bridgnorth Castle offers a glimpse into history alongside beautifully maintained gardens. Stroll through vibrant flowerbeds, enjoy views over the River Severn, and soak in the tranquillity of one of Bridgnorth’s most picturesque spots.

  • Morville and Shirlett walk

An 8-mile, moderate walk starting from Morville Village Hall, through Aldenham Park to Shirlett woods, returning along stretches of the Jack Mytton Way and paths close to Morville Hall and church. Catkins, snowdrops, winter aconite and other signs of spring along the way.
